The project was born from a call from God to build a worthy cathedral that will serve as the spiritual heart of Quintana Roo.

It will be a place where the faith of millions of people can be strengthened, where society can come together and be inspired to pursue the common good, where future generations can be cared for, and where those most in need can find shelter and support. It will also serve as a place of evangelization for thousands of visitors from around the world, while celebrating the natural beauty and rich historical heritage of our land.
